I’m it. I’m the only one left at NIHCA, as all my other employees have been furloughed until further notice. So, it’s just me. And because it’s just me, I’ve really tried to focus on staying positive and grateful during this time of uncertainty (aka COVID). Every morning when I wake up, my son and I share 3 things that we are grateful for today – each day we do this, trying not to duplicate the same answers. Today, I am grateful and thankful for: 1. 3M sticky notes 2. My dog, Brutus keeping me company at work and 3. Finger nail files!
So I challenge all of you to do the same thing. Let this time help you to find all things, big and small, in our lives that we are so grateful for. Hopefully this exercise will shower you with peace.
The photo above is a sign in my office. Some days, like now, I have to turn to it … and take a deep breath. Stay healthy, my friends. Hang in there and stay positive.
